Il caso di Ben Johnson alle Olimpiadi di Seul 1988
Ho trovato questo articolo su internet, per approfondire meglio l’uso eccessivo del doping nello sport. Ben Johnson fu campione olimpico dei 100 piani a Seul 1988 per una manciata di giorni, poi venne squalificato perché trovato positivo agli steroidi in un controllo antidoping effettuato su un campione di urina dopo la gara. Al giamaicano naturalizzato canadese venne ritirata la medaglia d’oro e il record del mondo di 9.67, corso nella finale, venne cancellato. Stesso destino toccò poco dopo al primato che Johnson aveva realizzato ai Mondiali del 1987, eliminato dagli annali dopo l’ammissione dell’atleta di aver fatto uso di sostanze dopanti anche in quell’occasione. Johnson scontò la squalifica, cercò di rientrare ma nel 1993 fu di nuovo trovato positivo dopo una gara e fu espulso a vita. Lo associo all’ illustrazione forza e debolezza perché se una persona importante e sportiva entra far parte di questo giro io lo ritengo debole e con paura di affrontare le cose con le proprie forze e dando il meglio di se.
