Screens in Class – Paths of Legality @Rimini

Screens in Class – Paths Legality is a project of the  Cinemovel Foundation born in 2011 to support the traditional teaching and promote a culture of legality building, with the contribution of the potential provided by the web, tools and virtual places where to grow and mature a critical collective.

The project Paths of Legality, selected by the Emilia Romagna Region within the activities financed by regional law No. 3 for the promotion of the culture of legality and responsible citizenship, is made by the city of Rimini and Cinemovel Foundation. Libera, Associations, names and numbers against mafias, founded by Don Luigi Ciotti, and Libera Informazione are project partners.

From December 2014 to March 2015 Cinemovel reach five secondary schools in the province of Rimini, setting up temporary media rooms and encouraging students in a story participatory addressed the definition of a collective imagination on issues related to organized crime.

An online portal will collect the materials selected from the web and shared by the participants building a multimedia library designed to stimulate a comparison between territories, knowledge and various skills.
The students will be accompanied by a group of experienced trainers. Participating in the project:

Giuseppe De Marzo – Economist and writer. National coordinator of the campaign “Poverty Ladra”;
Umberto Di Maggio – Regional Coordinator in Sicily of “Free, names and numbers against mafias”;
Lorenzo Frigerio – Journalist and National Coordinator of the Foundation Free Information;
Andrea Meccia – Writer and journalist;
