Confische alla mafia
Cercando su internet “Mafia confische”, mi sono subito apparse numerose notizie riguardanti la confisca di una cospicua somma di denaro, pari a 4,5 milioni di euro, avvenuta proprio in questi giorni. I beni sono stati confiscati dalla Dia (Direzione investigativa antimafia) a due imprenditori, padre e figlio, della zona di Castelvetrano, attivi nel settore del movimento terra e dell’edilizia, e vicini alla cosca di Matteo Messina Denaro, boss da anni latitante e indubbiamente protagonista della scena mafiosa locale. Mi ha stupita il fatto che uno dei due fosse particolarmente attivo in politica, essendo infatti stato assessore e componente del Consiglio comunale di Castelvetrano.
La confisca è stata predisposta dal Tribunale di Trapani, e i beni confiscati sono stati molteplici, da appartamenti ad automezzi, passando per imbarcazioni e conti corrente bancari.
I due sono stati sottoposti a Sorveglianza speciale, tre anni e mezzo per il padre, due anni e mezzo per il figlio.
Associo l’illustrazione “Ricchezza / Povertà” perchè i due imprenditori in questione si sono arricchiti in modo illecito tramite le cosche mafiose.
