Tra tutte le vittime innocenti della mafia, ho voluto ricordare Domenico Gabriele, detto dagli amici e dalla famiglia “Dodò”. Ferito a morte nell’estate 2009 mentre giocava a calcetto. Ucciso per sbaglio durante un agguato mafioso, quando aveva solo 11 anni. Ho scelto di condividere questo video in cui la città di Crotone, nella giornata della legalità, decise di commemorare il giorno del suo diciottesimo compleanno. Mi sono veramente commosso nel vedere l’emozione della famiglia, di tutti quei bambini e ragazzi che manifestavano a gran voce per la sua ingiusta uccisione, di tutte le poesie e le lettere lette per lui, soprattutto quella della sua mamma Francesca che lo ricorda come un ragazzo allegro, spensierato e sempre sorridente.
